April 5 Easter Sunday This year we made everyone in our family an extra special Easter basket. We filled pink and blue plastic eggs with candy and proudly displayed one golden egg. Inside the golden egg we had a picture of an ultrasound picture of a developing baby and a note that said, “We are EGGspecting! Due to Hatch on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2015.” Needless to say everyone was shocked and excited. Easter is a holiday of miracles so we thought it was appropriate to announce our little miracle.

April 16 Kevin’s Birthday Chrissy surprised Kevin for his birthday by taking him to a new restaurant we have never tried. It’s called HuHut Mongolian Grill. It was a good choice because Kevin still talks about how amazing the food was. We won’t mention how old Kevin turned this year; we will let you figure it out.

April 18 Chrissy’s parents took us to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point to celebrate Kevin’s birthday. The tulips were beautiful! They also spoiled us with lunch at Olive Garden and dessert at Rita’s.

April 19 Karalee was kind enough to invite us and Greg and Lynette to her house for dinner. It was very yummy. Later we went upstairs where Kammi served us pie for dessert. As we were driving home that evening, Kevin’s car started acting bizarre. A couple of days later and minus $500.00 his car received a new alternator. Don’t you just hate car troubles?
