January 1 New Year’s Day fell on a Sunday this year so we didn’t do much except go to church, which is at 11:00 now. Normally 11:00 would be the perfect time to go to church but we discovered that it’s more challenging with a child who needs to be napping.

January 2 We enjoyed our annual Lyman New Year’s Day breakfast. We had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and waffles, it was delicious! Kevin’s Winter Semester of Pathway started. He will be taking another religion class and a math class.

January 10-16 All three of us got sick with a nasty cold. Kevin got it the worst and had to call in sick for four days. Kayson officially started walking this month. He is an active little busy bod and we have to constantly watch him. He loves the toilet and putting things in it. He gets excited watching the clothes spin in the dryer and is discovering which foods he does and doesn’t like. If he doesn’t like a certain food he will push it away and spit it out. He loves to kiss and hug people and things that he loves.

Kevin had a lot of job interviews but so far hasn’t gotten any job offers. We are hopeful he will find one soon.
